on the Host server in the amount that you specify.
About RAID: By utilizing multiple Hard Drives in a RAID Array, computers
have the ability to provide fault tolerance and data-redundancy. RAID 1
provides data mirroring across 2 identical hard drives, and allows the system
to continue to operate even if one drive fails. RAID 5 distributes data blocks
across disks in an array. Redundant parity information is distributed across
the disks, so each array member contains the information that is used to
regenerate data if a disk fails. RAID 5 allows independent access to data and
can handle simultaneous I/O operations. 3 80 GB drives in a RAID 5 array
provide approximately 160 GB of storage space (1/3 of each drive is used for
parity and error checking, so that data can be re-generated in the event of a
Hard Drive failure). RAID 5 allows the system to continue to function even if
one of the Hard Drives in the array fails. |

The most basic definition of bandwidth is the total file size for all the
.html, .txt, images, sounds, etc that are included in the page x times the
number of views. When you load large files (such as images, sounds, movies,
etc) on your web site, then those larger files can increase the bandwidth
usage. For example, loading a typical 10KB web page with 100 visitors a day
(3000 visitors/month), with 1 50KB image would result in 3000 x 60KB = 180 MB
(or 0.176 GB) of traffic. Our experience shows that typical traffic patterns
for small to medium sized web sites fall in the 10-50 GB/ month range. Larger
web sites with a high volume of traffic may see traffic in the 150-300GB/ month
range.
